The mission of Made in Her Image is to close the gender equity divide in film, media, and technology by empowering, educating, and offering opportunities to girls, young women, and non-binary individuals to realize their creative visions. Established by Malakai in 2018, the concept of equity has been ingrained in our foundation—to reflect ourselves authentically and completely.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Matr3arc stands as my personal declaration, embodying not just my roles as a founder and artist, but also the core values of community that drive me. This ethos, of being a conduit for change, resonates deeply with me as an artist, a creative, an activator, and a curator. The seeds of our mission as a company are to provide equity and encouragement through art and movement. As a social impact art house, we aim to revolutionize film, media, and tech by prioritizing equity and community. Collaborating with Made In Her Image (MIHI), we empower over 2,000 mentees and engage with more than 10,000 community members. Together, we tear down barriers, nurture creativity, and shape a future characterized by inclusivity and empowerment.
