MATR3ARC is the mother.
“I founded MIHI in 2018 because I was tired of waiting for permission.”
Since then, we’ve trained over 2,000 young Black and brown creatives, reached more than 10,000 community members, and partnered with A24, Converse, Disney, and Universal to push equity forward in film and media.
Now, almost seven years in, I’m launching MATR3ARC—a social impact art house designed to go deeper. This isn’t a shift. It’s an expansion. MATR3ARC exists to carry the work further—to build the infrastructure our stories have always deserved. Where MIHI plants the seeds, MATR3ARC shapes the terrain they rise from.

COMMUNITY
An ecosystem rooted in imagination, art, and reclamation. Every project we create, every story we tell, and every experience we activate is designed to feed back into the community that birthed it.
MATR3ARC exists not only as a production house—but as a living, breathing organism that nurtures a future where Black and Indigenous self-sustainability isn’t a dream, but a standard.
Our branches extend far: from immersive art to film, to technology, to healing and cultural preservation. Yet at the root, everything filters through the MATR3ARC core—where social good and visionary expression coexist.
